Privacy
Last updated: 14 August 2026
This policy covers the Maviko Math website only. The app has its own privacy information, published with the App Store listing.
The website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts and loads no external fonts. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you are not being shown a cookie banner.
Who is responsible
The controller for the purposes of the GDPR is the entity named in the Impressum. Contact details are given there and below.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard web-server logs when a page is requested: IP address, timestamp, the page requested, referrer and browser user-agent. This is technically necessary to deliver the site and to detect abuse.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website.
The launch list
If you ask to be told when the app launches, we store your email address, the time of the request, your IP address, your browser user-agent and the exact consent wording you agreed to. The IP address and wording are kept as evidence that consent was given, which the GDPR requires us to be able to demonstrate.
We use confirmed opt-in: nothing is sent to you until you click the link in the confirmation email. If you never click it, the request is discarded.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, your consent. You may withdraw it at any time by emailing us, with effect for the future.
We will use the address for one purpose only — to tell you once that the app is available. It is not shared, sold or added to a newsletter, and the list is deleted once that email has been sent.
If you email us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to deal with it. Mail is handled on servers operated by our hosting provider.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of what was done before.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Germany this is the data protection authority of the federal state in which you live.
To exercise any of these, write to us using the contact details in the Impressum.
Hosting
This site is hosted by DreamHost. Serving a page necessarily involves transmitting the data described under “Server logs” to them as our processor.
Provider details are in the Impressum.
